The house is owned and lived in by a gay man from Canada who is well traveled in the Muslim world. Homosexuality in Morocco is not the exact equivalent of gay life in Europe or North America. The attraction here is the culture and how different and yet very sociable it is. The Medina dates from the 9th Century and is both the largest and oldest surviving Medieval city in the world. It offers the visitor an experience quite unique in every way.

Guests are welcome to participate in an introductory discussion about Morocco, it's culture and places to visit. Inexpensive guided tours of the Medina are offered by the owner. He would also be happy to help you plan your trip to other parts of the country.

Directions (e. g. from the airport or central train station)
Fes Saiss Airport: Taxi or Public Bus. Public bus 16 runs hourly to the Main Train Station. From there one takes a metered red cab to Rcif in the Medina. Taxis need to be negotiated from the airport but often one can join others in sharing the fare.

Gare Central: Take a metered red taxi to Rcif in the Medina

Bus Station Outside the Medina: Take a metered red taxi to Rcif in the Medina

All guests will need to be met at Rcif gate and brought to the house. This requires phoning us with the exact (within 10-15 minutes) time of arrival at Rcif.
